Projects made for Lane County
Through Career Technical Education (CTE) regional projects, high school students collaborate with local industries to tackle authentic, community-centered challenges. Rather than merely simulating workplace scenarios in class, students actively build, design, and resolve real-world issues to create a tangible local impact. Industry professionals partner with the students, providing guidance and enriching their education through the hands-on application of practical skills.

Team Oregon Build
Architecture & construction trades
Team Oregon Build is a partnership between education, industry, and community organizations that introduces students to career pathways in high-demand construction trades. Launched in response to wildfire and housing displacement across three Oregon regions, the project connects students to meaningful work while addressing real community needs.
Furniture Lab
Manufacturing
In Furniture Lab, students design and build durable furniture, such as desks, benches, and storage, for local nonprofits. Working from CAD drawings to finished products, students move through a real production timeline from raw materials to delivery.
