Aegis Asphalt Construction is a locally owned asphalt and pavement maintenance company based in Eugene, serving Lane County and the greater Willamette Valley. Founded by Brian Sugg — a Construction Management graduate with over 30 years of hands-on industry experience — Aegis specializes in asphalt paving and repairs, sealcoating, parking lot striping, concrete curbing, and exterior specialties. We are passionate about investing in the next generation of skilled tradespeople and are eager to partner with Lane County CTE Programs to provide students with real-world exposure to the construction industry. We are interested in offering job shadowing opportunities, worksite visits, mentorship, and potential internship placements where students can learn the technical and professional skills required in asphalt and civil construction. Our goal is to help students connect classroom learning to meaningful, in-demand careers in the trades right here in Lane County.
